Earnest Tyler Obituary

Earnest Tyler, also known as Lee, was born September 25, 1956, in Duncan, Mississippi, to Aaron and Millie Tyler, both whom have preceded him in death. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized. Earnest graduated from Broad Street High School. He worked numerous jobs and served in the military. Earnest will be remembered for his creativity; he was an artist and a poet. On Sunday, April 26, 2020, at 11:30 a.m., Earnest Tyler transitioned from his earthly home. Earnest leaves to cherish his memory: his son, Gabriel Tyler; three grandchildren; his sisters, Bobbie (Booker) Hicks, Lubertha (Henry) Hicks, and Patricia Dunn of Shelby, Mississippi; aunts, Clara, Earlene (Joe), Gloria (Dave), Dorothy, Earnestine of Shelby, Mississippi, and Louise of Duncan, Mississippi; uncles, Melvin of Saginaw, Michigan, and Sandy of Berea, Ohio; four nieces and four nephews; a special friend, Linda Atterberry; four special daughters, Essence, Chanel, Finesse, and Loreal; and a host of great-nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends
